Shaders limit player expression because you can only pick from the color combinations Bungie has made available.
The recent eververse shaders all feature special effects/textures, because Bungie thinks players would not buy shaders without them.
And so, I hope Bungie understands that there's only so many shaders you can make in an 8 year-old game and that they should either get rid of them in favor of a color picker, or introduce custom shaders: shaders merged from other shaders you own.

Best way to handle it is a color picker and texture picker for primary and secondary, tertiairy colors. But this current system has lasted way too long making it too difficult to migrate all known colors into something new. I'd say if this system needs a refreshment, they should make it way more userfriendly by bundling shaders in a list. Like each list represents a season and thats how you pick the shader you want. But bungo likes to throw everything in 30+ pages and now you need to search half an hour even if you marked it as favourite..... Come on Bungo, its 2025
