The ones responsible for the droprates of excotic class item(perks) should be ashamed. I've been at it for more than 35 HOURS, on ONE CHARACTER to unlock the stoicism with a specific set of perks and im honestly at a loss how these mechanics can be approved and also vomit at the idea of completing more overthrows.. Funny thing is it also takes a lot of hours to even get to the point where these items can drop from overthrow but then Bungie was like, nope we want MORE of your precious time.. Absolutely unbelievable!! The thing is, I have set attunement for a specific perk (in my case 'spirit of the horn' for the second row) and the game simply wont drop in one in combo with 'spirit of severance' on the top row. After many hours I switched attunement to spirit of severance in the hopes this would make the combo drop but dozens of hours later im only getting duplicates OR (and this infuriates me beyond belief) when I do get the roll on the row that is not attuned, THAT is the drop that I get a random roll on my attuned perk. This has happened three times and honestly I dont know what you people want, I dont mind putting in a few hours to get an item but this is just ridiculous and I have started to lose my enjoyment and delete game is creeping closer(as im sure im not alone) I suggest doing something about this because screw whoever implemented this ludicrous RNG or didnt implement a failsafe. AND remember, the invested hours are only for ONE CHARACTER, how can this be the intended purpose? Not to mention the drop rates for these items is( for me ) one every 3.5/4 overthrow(with opening countless chests) and to put it mildly, im getting pretty sick of endlessly grinding these mind numbing gamemodes and I've only done one character and there are tons more thigns to unlock, MAKE IT DO-ABLE. also in the meantime of all these wasted hours I could have completed a fun story game front to back.. this is, BTW, not the first single items which is taking me tens and tens of hours to unlock and simply put, its just not enjoyable to do a missions hundreds and hundreds of times in a row to get the drop I specifically need(nor are trials just for a CHEST piece on one character), cant spread or rotate the missions out though because that would cause it to take even longer to the wanted item..
