i know you read that and said...damn cheater. but lets be honest i was younger and shouldve known cheat engine would immediatly pop off the anticheat when i try ram manipulation on destiny 2 to give me legendary shards. obviously it didnt work lol. this account has a permanant ban on destiny 2 from that. i do play the game on my separate account, had to purchase every DLC, including ones from before sunsetting (this was during arrivals) I still play the game and no bans no attempting to cheat, was a younger lad and really thought that'd work. obviously learned my lesson. but the question at hand is, if i use my main steam account that is banned on destiny 2, would my ban carry over? or would it be treated as until proven guilty essentially on the newer game marathon. Thanks in advance, to those in the community who tell me i was dumb, yeah i was dumb. but i'd rather play marathon on my main account, where i play everything else.
:) thank you

While they haven't given any black-and-white clarification, they have mentioned that players that have received a game ban for any Bungie title are considered high-risk players for all Bungie titles - so you should be able to play it but can be banned there at a lower threshold. Once we get closer to release, Bungie will either publish their Marathon account restriction and ban policy page or update the Destiny one to simply cover both games and the clarification should be listed there under Vital Information.
