Any way to change name after misspelling?
Hi everybody,
quick question. It's my first time getting in contact with Bungie. I've never used Bungie nor have I ever made an account. When I created my account I had my Twitch-Name as my Username (LJUBAVV_) but i wanted to change it into "ljubavv" which sadly, due to a hectic misspelling, ended up being "ljuavv".
Now I can't change my name even though it never said that I have only one name change in my whole life with this account. Now even if I wanted to create a new account, I can't unlink my linked accounts or Twitch? This is all very frustrating and weird, since it never said anything like that or warned me as a new player visiting the Bungie website.
Would be nice to find a way to correct the misspelt account name or be able to create a new account and link the linked accounts again. There must be somehow a way of undoing this..

3 RepliesHey there. All players 'should' have three name changes, regardless of registration date. Bungie is currently investigating an issue where these name changes have been lost, however. Hopefully when Bungie resolves this issue, the lost name changes will be restored, which will let you change your name to the corrected one. For the moment however, for players have no name changes, there is unfortunately no way to make any correction - Bungie will not correct it, and additional name changes are not given out on request. But as I say, you 'should' have more, and hopefully will get those soon enough.
