I will try to explain this the best I can. Basically, I played D1 on PS4. And when D2 came out, I was on PC, and no longer had the console. Now, I’ve bought a PS5 and want to cross save to the PS5 from my steam account, but it tells me I have an active account (D1 account??) and will loose it, I’m supposing, if I link it. My concern is, that it will delete my D1 info. If I log into the bungie account through the PS link, there is no active characters, which I’m guessing is D2 data. I hope this makes sense.
