Barrow Dyad Catalyst is a horrific RNG slop grind
Up to getting target lock now which is arguably the best for the weapon.
RNG needed to get to the fonts
RNG needed to get the secret wall in the fonts
RNG needed to get the rune on the wall to appear
The least you could do is give access to the entire nether or give us the option to pick spawns.
This quest is a manufactured multi hour long quest for no reason just to frustrate and eat time from us.
At this point just make me do the exotic mission 4 times I do not care anymore, getting target lock is not remotely fun.

It’s designed this way to increase the ‘engagement metrics’. If people keep playing in an attempt to get it (which it seems they are doing) then that tells Bungie that the design is correct.
