After heresy are we losing the dreadnought?
This is just something I am wondering currently about the dreadnought. Are we going to lose it AGAIN after this echo finishes and we go into the next DLC? I would like to see it as a patrol zone with all the hard work that has been put into it.
This could be a bad post if the next few weeks story do something specifically with the dreadnought like destroying it for example.
I think putting back in the DCV is a real bad idea and would again lock new players out of another great experience. Especially on how we have the kings fall raid given to all players for free. I’m not saying keep all of the echo’s story components but just the parts that help players understand characters like Xivu Arath, Orxy and the hive pantheon.
If I’m being honest I think it will be gone only because of how I look back at the first Echo story changing Nessus in missions but not in the patrol zone itself.
Hopefully not but we will all find out soon enough.
To add if it is kept just keep the dreadnought as a permanent nether experience in some form but public and fully explorable (which would also allow Barrow byad catalyst quest to work still.)

What about the pale heart? All that work and it's worse than a patrol the dreadnaught, pale heart and the Leviathan should have active patrol spaces as these locations still actively have unresolved plot threads and could be homes for old weapon, armor and activities and just need tuning for solo and low man traffic...Or even better have patrol zones have higher population limits with solo options

1 ReplyFrom the looks of things, it seems to me that The Dreadnaught is transforming into a new ship. Literally shedding its old self. So it’s possible that it will remain in the game, but it will not be the ship we once knew

2 RepliesLike the Leviathan from Haunted, the Dreadnought is being used as a seasonal location and will more than likely will be remove when Frontiers launches later this year. Although you do bring up a very good point that in order to complete any of the 4 catalyst quests requires doing activities found within the Dreadnought, so Bungie will either have to leave it in place or revamp all 4 quests to account that the location is no longer available in the game.

1 ReplySadly pretty sure the content staying are: Onslaught Salvation, Sunsless Cell, Battleground Echo Nether, Court, Tomb, Contest, Arena, Enigma will be removed. Also it's only a chance Onslaught Salvation stays.
