Can we PLEASE get rid of battlegrounds as nightfalls forever?

Edit: or just make the boss's shields NOT teleport to us and wipe us after clearly missing by a long shot

These BG GMs just aren’t that fun when all anyone does is just sit in the back and plink away because trying to do anything else is a death sentence, or people want to try some kind of cheese. And the eh we have to deal with some gimmick for damage with throwing the spears at a specific enemy just to advance and it takes so many hits. Not really compelling challenge or fun.

I prefer strikes over battlegrounds any day because they have a small gimmick in the strike to add to it. Battlegrounds are just add spam while defending a point. My biggest gripe with battlegrounds is how long they are as activities (yes I know they can be done faster but not everyone has the luxury of playing with too tier players.)

4 RepliesThey won’t because most Players will ditch them in favour of Strikes for many and various reasons, mostly unfun! Unless they put superior loot in them…..but that’s not the plan, the plan is to force running an activity that’s unpopular.

People have been complaining about this for years. When will people get it through their heads it is [b]never[/b] gonna happen. All of that content for one season/episode only to be removed for the new expansion is wasted work.

PsiOps Projections need major tuning but besides that they’re not actually that bad as GMs.

Edited by Kouz_MC: 3/15/2025 12:21:46 PMThere’s a buggy area in the boss room. The whole area around the tower to the right where the spear pops occasionally pushes players (as if they were stomped or nova-ed) into oblivion. Believe me or not, but if you read this, stay clear of that area.
