Remove Oscillation
I play strikes kinda just to listen to music and shred stuff using whatever weapons and builds I want to.
With the Oscillation modifier it makes running strikes annoying and less fun Imo

1 ReplyIt's fine in GM's and Nightfalls, but not in strikes. Modifiers need to be very basic there.

I actually was gonna chill in strikes one day until I saw that modifier. I logged off instead cause I didn't want to think about other activities. Really dislike them adding some of these modifiers in regular strikes.

1 ReplyUgh I know right , every time I see oscillation or haste on onslaught or vanguard strikes I just don’t play them that week . They just aren’t fun

Yes 100% and while you’re at it remove Haste too, it’s freaking dumb.

2 RepliesPersonally, I think we need another option.. like Heroic Strikes in D1. Then we can have a "brain off" mode in strikes & a Heroic Modifier mode. I used to really enjoy that in D1. Bottle of nice Merlot, a good podcast & classic strikes. Jus chill & slay. Even drop my power to sub 250 to help some new players get thru those strikes needed for quests. The longer D2 runs, the more I feel they missed the lessons learned from D1.

Took me a hot minute to figure out why my Agers was doing no damage to damn ads lol, noped out of the playlist as soon as I saw that stupid modifier. It doesn't make it any harder, as I can just punch roll infinitely, it's just an annoyance because I wanted to shoot stuff.

I agree it needs to be removed from the game along with the majority of the new modifiers.

I would say that all of these new modifiers are garbage and needs to be removed. This is Bungie we are talking about, so they will unfortunately stay.

2 RepliesIn before somebody says that oscillation is a requirement and should be permanent because it allows them to kill strike bosses 1 second faster and they don't feel like it limits builds and their account says they've only ever used shotguns.

Everything already falls over in that content. I wouldn't sweat it and just keep running what you want.

Ya oscillation can stay in gms, but the vanguard playlist can stick to basic stuff.
