There are so many legendaries dropping for me, and most of them are garbage. Loot doesn’t feel special like it did at times in D1. The game feels really bloated.

What do you expect from a game going on year 11? They tried fixing this issue with sunsetting but the community cried (within reason) Just take a step back and think about all the weapons we have in this game. From dungeons, raids, nightfalls, world drops, dlc drops etc etc. it’s going to be bloated by design lol

Its been bloated for years. Its why the only way they are able to make any new weapons even viable, is by giving them perks that are broken to hell. I remember when you needed an exotic to chain lighting damage between enemies. Now it's a perk on multiple legendary weapons. The legendary pool is getting so bloated it's power creeping the exotic pool just to stay relevant

Unfortunately I can't see a realistic solution other than to remove rarity other than exotic. Just remove the backgrounds or the tag of legendary if that's all that will ever drop now. I get that blues where annoying to get but at least they still added a small bit of variety. I haven't seen a green nor a white since the beginning of forsaken. (Not counting pulling those rarities out of collections for fun I guess)
