name got banned twice
i would like an extra name change, my name was changed from Mara Sov’s Fishnets twice, to Guardian####, now my name was on the more tame side of character specific names, ive seen WAY and i mean WAY worse names bungie cmon, at least mine was a normal article of clothing and not underwear or crotas balls

Hello there[url=https://tuxydoh.com/images/hi.gif],[/url] A name reset to default like that means it was detected or reported, reviewed by Bungie and reset to"Guardian####", that indicates that some part of the name broke the [url=https://www.bungie.net/7/en/Legal/CodeOfConduct]Code of Conduct[/url] or the [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/7648312251284-Bungie-Name-Guide]Bungie Name Policy[/url], was filtered, and [b]can no longer be used.[/b] When that happens, you get the new name cross play message in-game as notice of the name change. You can try a different name if you have not previously changed it. If the system is not allowing more changes, there is no way to override it. Additionally, I am not privy to what portion of the name policy or code of conduct your name was running afoul of. All I can advise is that once the name has been moderated by Bungie, it is no longer available for use. If you have a name change available still, you can change it to a different name.

So you created a childish name trying to be edgy, & it got banned. They give you another name change, & you put the same name again? I mean that's on you for being at the bottom of the common sense scale tbf

1 ReplyBungie doesn't issue name change tokens on demand, so if you have now none left of the three given, you're out of luck until Bungie gives another (if ever).

1 ReplyFrom my understanding it's against the Code of Conduct to use in game character names in your Bungie tag. We've all seen them, but I've just seen too many second & third party conversations pertaining to this matter, ingraining this view.

I’m not seeing why there would be a problem with that name. As you say it’s very tame and there are far worse names still in use. Guess someone at Bungie has a strong fishnets aversion.
