Anyone miss world drop exotic weapons ?
All new exotic weapons are earned through seasonal quests now, or rng raid/dungeon drops
Gone are the days of getting Gjallorhorn from a random crucible match , or farming 3 of coins on Draksis,Winter Kell trying desperately to get Telesto
Oh and getting the most powerful exotic in the game for finishing last in a random crucible match

I definitely miss that. I know the better players like the guarantee of getting the exotic through a quest. It eliminates the random aspect and possibility of not getting one to drop. And I do get why some players prefer that. I much prefer that surprise and feeling of seeing that exotic engram and knowing there is at least a chance of a new weapon. Some of the exotic quests are just mind numbing long or include at least one aggravating step…Parasite Pilgrimage comes to mind. Even a minuscule chance of a new exotic weapon drop would be nice
