Every year, the forced festival armour gets more annoying
Bungie, I can guarantee you there isn't a single sane person in the game that doesn't hate being forced to screw up our builds by wearing the stupid festival armour. Festivals where you have to wear a helmet or other piece of armour with stats are the worst, but even the class items are an annoying downgrade because they don't have artifice slots (and they're a waste of resources to masterwork). Can we just stop with this annoying bs already? It makes every festival less fun for everyone.

Edited by PsycoticSeagull: 3/12/2025 5:46:36 AMI usually wear an artifice class item. When I got the event bond on my warlock earlier I said fk it, I'll deal with losing the 3 points. No big deal. Logged in again a bit ago and thought I had accidentally put back my normal bond cus it said it was the artifice piece. Turns out the event bond IS an artifice armor now. Idk if this is a glitch, is supposed to happen, or if it's even happening to other players. Only thing I can think of is maybe cus I got the full rewards in the tower for the pve part of the event? That was never a thing before though as far as I know. Oh well, not gonna turn down free artifice armor. Especially if I can get it for my other classes. Edit: from what I gather they made the class items artifice armor after they patched being able to get and dismantle them infinitely.

No one is forced to do anything in this game ….haven’t touched any event for years . As soon as you feel forced then you are play video games all wrong 🤷🏼♂️

If you saw my suggestion in another thread, the same way that wearing Iron Banner Ornaments count towards the activity goals, wearing the current season's Guardian Games class item as an ornament should count towards completing Guardian Games content. This would allow us to wear Artifice Armor and Stoicism class items and still participate in the Games.
