Does anybody engage in a gunfight that’s not a team shot with a primary? Every time I get into a gun fight there 2 half charging a fusion and the other one rushing me with a shotgun. There’s no ways to beat all 3 at one. Special weapons are TOO strong and relied on. Add that with PvP ability spam and it’s just not fun at all

Ironically this is the best secondary ammo economy has been for less PvP special kill percentages in D2 (minus double primary Red War… which killed crucible & overall community didn’t like [yes I know some players loved this but was changed in Forsaken due to overall community sentiment & poor engagement]) Statistically, (last time checked) every secondary weapon in vast majority of PvP weapons used has lower kill % than usage % & primaries (minus SMG & close range riskier primaries) being the inverse, meaning… majority of kills in crucible are from primary weapons, it just feels worse to be killed by a special as most feel cheap in relation. Regardless, D2 will never be a balanced or “serious” PvP game given its identity, mechanics & unreliable P2P network. It will always be full of cheap stuff & bad connections - it can be very fun and/or very infuriating, certainly if taken too seriously & being held to competitive FPS standards.

Yeah fusions just replace primaries for the bad players who never learned to use one

What’s funny is shotguns have much more usage numbers but every “shotgun main” has like a few hundred to a few thousand kills on a shotgun but every single “fusion main” has like 10k-50k kills on like 4 different fusions lol. As a former fusion crutch myself, I can confirm they are absolutely broken, especially on controller.

Well if you shouldnt get in to 1v3 situation in the first place…

Edited by Salty-47: 3/10/2025 8:03:27 PMYou say all that as if you aren't maining a hunter in pvp, the class with the most ability spam, while also running an estoc and shotgun. So you complain about what others use and ability spam while you're using the meta crutch pulse, a shotgun, and the most ability spam class. How does that make sense?
