To those asking for even more vault space

Every time Bungie has increased the vault space size, people still manage to find themselves filling it all the way and then demand more space. So while we wait for the solution that the developers will be providing in a later expansion - here is some blunt advice about inventory management. —————————————————————
“We shouldn’t have to spend so much time managing our inventory!”
Welcome to the world of MMO’s, looter shooters, and RPG’s. Managing your inventory is actually a big part of these games. The only reason it might feel like a lot of time, is when you have accumulated a lot of stuff and did not spend time evaluating what you have. You should be regularly going through and getting rid of items, based on if it’s a good roll and/or if it’s even a good weapon. You should also be evaluating items based on their usage. Go through your vault, and consider when was the last time you actually used that weapon. Check to see if it was re-introduced with new perks. Maybe you should utilize what you have to make different builds. Even at 200 filled slots, there is plenty of gear to make multiple builds across three characters. You cannot store everything in the event that some specific roll of a specific weapon happens to be good on a particular season. That’s not sustainable. Nor is it likely to happen, seeing as how the game regularly re-introduces old weapons with new perks. —————————————————————
“But Bungie keeps changing the meta with buffs and nerfs. We gave to prepare!”
It’s by design. The game will always have a changing meta as a way to encourage players to keep playing activities - but there are going to be weapons that are always going to be considered good rolls regardless of seasons, and really those are the ones that should be held onto. And even then, they added Crafting to Raid weapons (as well as some past seasons, some of which you can reobtain through exotic missions) - it’s another form of grind but it lets you adjust that weapon you worked so hard for. The last thing Bungie wants is for your vault collection to be so perfect that you have zero reason to grind for weapons. So the game is never going to be in a stagnant state to let that happen. You’re going to have to make sacrifices. Choose what you want to keep and what you are willing to grind for again if it becomes a viable option in a season. The key is discerning these rolls - luckily there are third-party resources which do a lot of the heavy lifting for you on that front. You don’t have to do it all on your own. ————————————————————— That’s the end of it. So again, we will have to wait and see what their solution is. However, in the meantime, Please stop hoarding stuff that you’re not using. Even if Bungie could give us infinite vault slots, which they can’t as they have discussed the issues of limited storage that the game can handle on multiple occasions - they in all likelihood still would not provide infinite vault space. As that would be a detriment to the game experience.
