Recently, I purchased 2000 Silver via Destiny 2, but the game prompted an Xbox login window, asking me to sign in to my Xbox account to proceed. I followed the steps, including entering my credit card information, but after completing the process and waiting for almost 5 minutes, nothing appeared. This was my first time purchasing in-game content, and the issue left me very disappointed.
I submitted a help request and received the following response: "We have reviewed your comments on Help Request 376171. You may have purchased Silver for the Microsoft Store app on the Windows PC version of Destiny 2 instead of Silver for the Xbox version of Destiny 2." However, I pressed the purchase button from within the game, not via Microsoft/Xbox.
I have confirmed with Microsoft and Xbox staff that my purchase was successful and for the platform I am playing on, which is the PC version. Additionally, I attempted to purchase 500 Silver twice more, once within the game and once via Xbox, but I still have not received anything.
I am very disappointed and helpless. Please, Bungie support team, help me resolve this issue.
