Current state of comp might be one of the worst I’ve seen in a long time. Aside from 450s and fusions being a little too strong (especially estoc and zealots), team balancing has been awful. Most games I’m getting teamed with players who don’t seem to understand the mode, or seem to be not up to same skill as enemy team. I’m just okay, I can’t be put up to carry against two-three great players

Plus the “rank” adjustments they made feel worse than ever. This might be just me but my loses are taking away 120+ and my wins are only giving 80-100. I’m not the best player but that seems kinda backwards when I’m only at gold 3.

4 RepliesThis is my first season really playing comp. So, my perspective is a bit different than veterans. I am focused on learning and improving, trying to figure out 3v3, since I've almost exclusively played 6s. The approach to the game mode is very different, and I feel that with a good reward like Redrix, it has brought a lot of players, like me, ones that have not played much comp or 3's. Focus on playing your life, rotate to regroup with teammates after one goes down and spawns split is less intuitive to 6's players. Challenging only when numbers are in your favor, and rotating out when hurt for a player who is full health to finish the kill. A lot of players just seem to think they can do it all themselves, and often get shutdown. I placed low, around silver 3, but worked my way up to gold 2. My goal for now is platinum, but i feel that i need personal improvement to reach it. Some of these players, like me, may have a higher skill rating in the 6s Playlist, which pre them in higher skill brackets in comp when they shouldn't be. I play a lot of Mayhem when it's around, and often have a higher win percentage/KD in that Playlist, which seems to carry over to my normal skill rating and puts me in higher skill games.

I have seen a lot of players in their placement games, up to 4 players in a single game. That can disbalance the whole outcome. Also a lot of people running blind into teamshot fire. Collision in particular heavily depending on map and where you spawn. I very much like collision but wished it had no abilities at all.

I feel your pain, I'm having a similar experience I'm normally silver/gold started the season silver 1 I'm now down in Bronze 3 at 1 point I was 1 loss away from copper. I have never been this low in the rankings. I seem to be loosing game after game in uneven lobbies about 90% of the games I've lost i have been on top of my team. It's ridiculous my kda is the highest it's ever been and yet I'm the lowest rank I've ever been due to poor lobby balancing

Their 2/25 update gets an F grade from me, it's been terrible since then.

I'm not the greatest, but i used to be able to hit platinum pretty consistently. Even hit adept first season. Now, i cant even make it out of silver.
