I can’t be the only one that feels like Destiny will make us play a 15 minute mission in which we’re doing nothing but sprinting the whole level killing a few enemies only to get to a boss that we just bulldoze right over.
it takes longer to complete the puzzles and navigate your way than it does to beat the actual boss.
The hardest part about the mission is figuring out the correct path to follow. I would much rather play a level that is easy to navigate to the final boss and then spend 10 to 15 minutes, fighting a worthy adversary, a challenging boss.

What a lot of people are missing is that a better way of making the gameplay challenging, is to make the enemy themselves challenging. Take a look at monster Hunter, which does have mechanics you have to keep in mind, but they all come from the monster you’re fighting. This is one of the reasons why I find tormentors one of the more unique and entertaining enemies introduced in the game. It has weak spots, and when you activate them, it changes their behavior. Destiny needs enemies and bosses who’s combat mechanics are fun to face Relying on a puzzle being the primary obstacle takes away from the combat. But this is why Raids fill with ads that impede solving the puzzle, it gives you something to shoot
