Bug Report: Ready Up lobby issues, Fireteam Finder basically unusable.
I've been a heavy user of Fireteam Finder since it's release. I've used it to easily do well over 100, maybe 200+ or more GMs, as well as other content, so I know how it works. Don't assume I don't, I'm not that guy.
With that out of the way, at some point over the past few months, the "Ready up lobby" has ceased to function for me on the PC version.
1. On the joining end:
If it's an auto join, it doesn't tell me that I'm in. It doesn't bring me to the ready up screen. However, if I load up the D2 app, it shows me in there, however I cannot ready up from the app. This causes the leader to not understand why I haven't ready'd up, usually resulting in a kick.
If it's an application required, the bottom banner will indicate that I've been accepted or rejected. However, even on acceptance, it doesn't bring me to the ready up screen either. Resulting again in me being unable to ready up.
*Also of note: Even upon acceptance into a lobby (confirmable only by checking the app at this point), I never get brought into the Fireteam Finder text channel either.
2. On the hosting end:
Upon creating the lobby, I do in this case get brought into the "Ready up lobby". I will also get the toasts on the bottom of the screen indicating that people are applying. If I use the "Auto Join" setting, people are able to apply and join as normal. However, if I set it to Application Required... I still get the toasts from people joining, but when I go to the applicant list- it never shows a single one, so I am unable to invite them. I can see them waiting on the app though.
I didn't post a video because it hardly helps in this situation. I'd have to have 2 videos going simultaneously for both phone and monitor at the same time to show what I can just type in this case.
I have tried every possible graphic adjustment, and I confirm it isn't that. This is some sort of desync or UI issue I'd guess. It wasn't anything else on my PC's end either.
I was having the same problem and I think I fixed it, only problem was I did two things and I’m not sure which one fixed it 😆😁🤣😝 The two thing that I did on my PS5 was
1. I synced my game file from from console storage to the cloud ( which honestly I think it has no bearing because Destiny game file is saved on their servers )
2. I noticed that my time was not “ set automatically” turned on tab . Turned it on and set it now to update if there was a discrepancy.
And now I do not face the same issue you have.
So maybe one of the two things I did might work for yall.
Hope it helps
