Unlinking Grace Period
I had plans to unlink my old psn from cross save but had to wait because I bought silver or something, and that was fine cause there was no real urgency. Considering the recent announcement that you wont be able to unlink in the future, how can I make sure I can unlink before that goes into effect.
Why am I being punished for spending money? I get the overall reason for the feature being updated, but if that change is going into effect soon I should be allowed to correct the setup now before everything is locked in forever.

You are not being punished, it's a security feature to protect your account(s) and the system from abuse. Bungie will not override the 90-day wait no matter what. They never have, everyone has had to wait the 90-days. Everyone is told about the 90-day wait during the cross-save setup, in the policy they must agree to, and in the [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049498031-Destiny-2-Cross-Save-Guide]cross-save guide.[/url]
