I would very much like if Bungie put the game on Amazon Luna. What are your thoughts on this?

Never heard of Luna. Is that another console?

I have no thoughts on this.

Edited by BetweenMyself: 3/4/2025 6:03:30 PMWhile I don’t believe an exact dollar amount has ever been confirmed, it has been pretty well established that Google paid Bungie a rather hefty sum of money to ensure the devs had the resources to make Destiny 2 available on Stadia at a time when the game had a strong track record of performance both financially and in terms of player metrics. Without a sizable upfront cash investment on Amazon’s part to fund a Luna compatible version, it’s frankly unclear what incentive Bungie would have to begin development as finding reliable numbers for Luna’s current installed user base is a bit difficult (publicly traded companies with a project that is performing well tend to make it very easy for everyone else to see just how well they’re doing). And given Bungie’s dual issues with public sentiment and user retention of late, I’m not sure Amazon would view Destiny 2 as the same sort of draw that Google recognized years ago. Without a significant uptick in business for one side or the other (or a moderate uptick for both), I’m not sure it currently makes sense for either company to pursue a deal to gets D2 onto Luna.
