Name randomly defaulted to "GuardianXXXX"
So i just logged on and got a pop up about my name being changed and something about crossplay...
I've had that set up since it released, been playing Destiny since day 1 and am still actively playing D2 atm, my name was not offensive so i can't understand why this has happened.
Given i've no name changes left apparently, am i now just "Guardian" forever???

2 RepliesEdited by EckyThump: 3/2/2025 1:20:45 PMHey there, when a name gets reported, reviewed by Bungie, and reset due to code of conduct violation, the player gets the cross-play message in game, as there isn't a dedicated message for 'your name got moderated'. That's all it is. If you definitely have no name changes, you'd have to wait until Bungie issue more. But just to be sure, if you can enter a new name and try to submit it, this is proof that you do have name changes available. If they don't save, then they are hitting the filter and you'd need to try something else. Note that a name does not have to be 'offensive', you can read the expanded code of conduct definitions below.
