Error Codes Marmot, Chive, and Beagle

I started logging back into D2 regularly around mid-Feburary, and ever since then I have been having sporadic crashes with error code marmot. After this crash, attempting to log back into the game takes me to a game verification screen, after which I get error code beagle stating that I need to perform a full reinstall. I have verified files on steam, performed multiple full reinstalls of D2, changed which ssd D2 is installed on, and installed the latest graphics drivers for my GPU. I would greatly appreciate if anyone could provide some insight about this, or if anyone has been experiencing similar issues. I took a break from D2 a week after the final shape came out, and had never experienced these issues prior to this latest expansion release. If any crash report data is needed, I would be happy to provide that info as well, I just need to know what to send.

  • (Beagle error) Press the Windows Key and R key together, write %TEMP% and hit Enter, a folder will open with other subfolders, look for the one named Destiny 2 and rename it (something like Destiny_2_backup for example) and relaunch the game

  • Hi there, Thanks for reaching out! Error code: MARMOT signifies that the Destiny 2 game files are corrupted and need to be repaired or verified. For instructions on how to fix the game files on each supported platform, please refer to our guide below. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/4405096052244-Error-Code-MARMOT The other errors you're encountering are likely related, and more info about them can be found below: https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360048719232-Error-Code-CHIVE https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049196011-Error-Code-BEAGLE If you're still seeing these errors after multiple re-installs, it may point toward a hardware or system-level error.
