Cross save issue
I used my friends pc to log in on my destiny 2 account so they could experience the game in its fullest. So when i set up the cross save my hunter and warlock had been deleted including the armor and weapons on them but mu titan was still there but he had also lost all the armor and weapons on him. Although my vault was full of items and stuff like it should be and now i fear my old characters and items have been deleted. I haven’t played the game in a year and i decided to get back into it and this was not a pleasant surprise. Id appreciate help if there is any “fix” to this :(

Maybe your friend deleted them under the assumption that it was a locally stored save, not understanding that they 'belonged' to your live account and that deleting them on his PC, deleted them for you. Unfortunately Bungie does not restore deleted items or characters. Nor so I see how cross save is related, this is a manual character deletion.

5 RepliesEdited by silentbutviolent: 2/21/2025 2:41:32 PMsounds like you need to have a talk with your 'friend'. only way to delete toons is by holding a button down for a good bit of time after confirming that's what you want to do multiple times. and no, there is no 'fix'. bungie does not restore lost/deleted items for any reason. edit - on a side note kids, never, EVER share your account information with anyone.
