Hi everyone, On July 3rd 2024, I made a request for the Bungie Help teams concerning a Ban appeal for one of our friend. I was unable to get in contact with them and the ticket was marked has "Solved". All other ticket opened after that were answered by an automated response and automatically closed. I'm posting here with the hope of getting an answer and closure on the matter. I have proof screenshots if required. Here's the initial query : Hi, I'm contacting you on behalf of another player. I hope this will be read by a human. The name of this player is Yuji-12#4967. Around March 13th 2024, Yuji-12#4967 was banned from Destiny. His Steam account was compromised for a brief moment and during that time, suspicious connections were made on his Destiny Account that is linked to his Steam account. His account was quickly banned. He was also banned from Steam. The issue with Steam was resolved quickly and the account was recovered without any issue. A Multifactor Authentificaiton method was added to the account and all other possible sources (Email account...etc.). Password were changed. Since he did not receive any confirmation on why he was banned from Destiny, we investigated the connection on his Steam account to find clues. Connections were made from Stockholm and Saint Petersburg between 7:30 and 7:50 AM on march 13th 2024. Yuji-12#4967 is from Canada. At the time of the ban, Yuji-12#4967 was not currently playing Destiny, his last time playing was on october 08 2023 around 2PM. If we check his game History, we can see 4 activities between 10:47 AM and 11:07AM. We can assume the ban occured in this time frame. Yuji-12#4967 has been playing this game for years now (Since Destiny 1). He has 1200+ hours played and spent hundreds of dollars on cosmetics and content. He's a dedicated member of this community. Myself and his whole clan do not believe that this permanent ban is equitable. We don't see why a player would start risky behavior with all this background. This is a first offense. Steps were taken to secure all possible account. I miss playing with him. May his ban be revoked? I will link multiple images to help support our claims.
