playing trials with friends, and the best of us averages a 1.3kd, but we are consistently matching people who are k/d 2.0+ (just match a dude who has had a 3.5-4.0 since season 12), how is this matchmaking supposed to be fun or anywhere near "weekend performance based matchmaking" i (the weekend 1.3) have a flawless passage i got today (monday) but the games with said friend prior to have still been ridiculous. have another friend who averages a 2.0 and we any of the three match with him the games/players are nowhere near as difficult, most people that trio will face are 1.3 averages or lower.
I know this sounds mostly like me complaining, but i find it hard to enjoy the game when its us three getting stomped for hours matching cracked players when we are nowhere near that good. i know its a somewhat new matchmaking but i was curious if other people are having these issues/experiences.
I may be wrong here, but I thought that Trials utilizes open matchmaking until you [or your teammate(s)] are on a completed passage, and then after that it utilizes performanced based matchmaking.
So if that's accurate, then you and your team can face anyone in the matchmaking pool.
If that's wrong then feel free to roast me. 😅
