I usually don't post here anymore... But Bungie. We have to talk about Shaders in PvP.

This weeks Trials map is Burnout. Burnout has a lot of black/dark background colors. So players using shaders like "Superblack" can gain a camouflaging advantage over players who don't pick dark colors for their fashion. If you need a video explaining how camouflaging works, you can go watch one here. If you need a prime example of it being employed in Destiny 2 in PvP maps, you can look at this image I created here (in case the embed image doesn't show). Nothing in this image comparison is edited btw. you can literally test it yourself if you have the superblack shader. Player customization shouldn't give such drastic advantages in PvP. Hence I am suggesting that Bungie should add an option for "Team Colors" in PvP that can be enabled client-side to help with this visibility issue without ruining individual fashion for players. It could look like this for example. On the own screen for players not having this setting enabled it would display the shaders just as normal. Forcing it on everyone would be bad. But giving the choice is fair and square. Also, this coloring concept has been proven time and time again in game design to be effective. Just look at Halo Reach during the Bungie-Halo era. They did it before. They can do it again. It's not a cheat. It's not some sort of unfair practice. It merely serves helping both people with visual handicaps and visibility of players in a PvP sandbox. And let's be honest, having team colors in Halo games and other, similar ones never have ruined them or made them unplayable. So there is really no counter argument there.
