Hello. I'm an average player in pvp. I don't care if you check my stats. I'm not actually thaaat good. I won't even read replies, this is just my opinion for feedback. Posting and I'm out. However, I used to enjoy trials- then there was a change, checkmate and zone capture. It was different, but somehow we all managed to get used to it and try to get to the Lighthouse. But then this came. It's. It's awful. I've been playing some hours today, and I still haven't managed to get to the ''Lighthouse'' (glows and good loot, but now I know it's all scrapped in... win streaks.... what even is the purpose of the Lighthouse anymore). I've only played the ''right'' card since, honestly, as much as I read, I'm still pretty confused on what the hell did Bungie tried to do here. So far I managed the 5 win streak, but it's not enjoyable. Sometimes I had to do my team's work because some won't even move. Yes, I'm a solo player, have been for some couple of years since literally all my friends quit playing this game thanks to changes like this. I played the left card for a little (not much, since I want my glows and stuff, my favorite were the red glows but now I guess it's either impossible or super frustrating as a solo player, either that or some luck), and there is no way I was getting similar players on my games. I got 1.something kd overall and 1.92 kd this season. My last game, I got team with a 0.34 player and another 0.65. Only once I got 0.90-1.00 kd on my team, as for the opposing, well, some were even higher. I don't know what happened, before was frustrating, yes, but it was doable as a solo player. You either got your three wins or 2 mercies, and with some tries or luck, you got your glows of *choice* (yes not this win-streak based glows, and so far I've only seen ONE PLAYER in all my games who had glows, and they were yellow) and your weapon, simple. If you wanted more, you just tried again. I get the ''more players on trials'' thing, but honestly, this is NOT the way. Most of them seem to not even know that there are not respawns and that we need to work as a team. Trials is so frustrating right now, I doubt they will stay the whole season. If you wanted casuals in Trials, I still think the 2 mercy-3 win passages were more than enough. You just needed to add either more loot or different things to make players want to get that specific thing. Low-player population is not Trials' fault. It's literally the whole game. You just have this kind of pity system where everything needs to be super accesible, and if I'm being honest, it's ruining this even more. If Trials was already in a bad state, this didn't help. I don't have any doubt more players will eventually quit this mode. This is not even Trials anymore. It's something else, and it's bad. Just... return to what it once was and try to work from there, not do a whole change and expect people to stay. Yes, some will stay, but a lot will go, once again. Experimenting it's not the solution to your game. Most players already tell you you just need to get back to your roots, and go from there. I mean, your experiments through the years haven't actually showed good results... don't they? We should be able to choose our own glows and even make them ornaments. If you want more exclusive stuff, ADD more stuff, don't gatekeep what was already there. If the problem was the loot, hell, give 2 adepts per Lighthouse, not just 1. You said ''keep stuff exclusive'' as if the Lighthouse/glows/adept weapons weren't already exclusive to those who managed to get to the Lighthouse. I really don't understand your logic here. As for the win streaks. Honestly, it's all about luck. You don't know if your team will quit on your 6th win, or stay afk, or else. And there aren't a lot of teams either, most Trials players are solo players. Honestly, this is ruined for me. And I doubt I will play this season at all since I was mostly a pvp player.
