There is absolutely nothing good about The Nether. Boring location filled with annoying enemies that has tracking shots, no health regen, limited revives and tanky bosses.
The main activity is literally those small objective on the Pale heart. Go to a group of ads and kill them.
The worst ones have to be the two ones that you take over a plate. One will just have one plate that you have to take over that has quite a lot of ads spawning and the other ones has 2 plates that you have to take over but with even worse enemy types that spawn in. You will have to deal with weavers that will just pull you around the f'ing map like crazy and they will also spawn Husks, not only will they spawn Husks but they will literally spawn them on top of you. Wtf.
Yeah great objectives in a mode without health regen.
Not to mention how this is also an open area zone with chests and recourses. So you will either waste your time running around collecting them, or waiting for your team to collect them or be a -blam!- and progress the mission and screwing your team over. Great job as usual Bungie.
I have played all but 2 seasons and i can say with confidence that this is easily the worst one yet. I never thought they would make an activity worse than Haunted, but here we are. Won't even touch this garbage unless they remove that stupid modifier that disables your health regen. It will still be garbage but at least it will be playable.

It's literally faster to regen health in this mode than it is in regular modes. The health pickups spawn from every other enemy you kill. Also, to the people talking about "shoehorning" you into healing builds. The irony of that argument is the the healing builds DON'T WORK in the Nether due to a bug that doesn't allow healing to scale to higher health pools ie. it's just healing you for the base health amounts...which is basically nothing compared to the health increase. This is literally the same whining as the Seraph event days because it was sliiiiightly more difficult than pure braindeath than D2 generally is...grow some thumbs and let the devs cook.
