Worried About the Flash Counter Rework

Thank you for revisiting some old sword perks. They do need some love, but I'm worried that the upcoming change to Flash Counter will ruin its unique identity when it comes to its previous ability. Namely in its current state Flash Counter: [i]When an attack is blocked within 0.5 seconds of Guarding: Suppresses (lite suppress) nearby targets and Weakens the enemy for 4 seconds, making them receive a unique 20% extra damage.[/i] Rework from TWAB: [i]"Taking damage after guarding emits a disorienting blast." >No longer requires a timed input or melee to trigger. >Deals moderate damage in a large cone in front of you, disorienting combatants.[/i] Flash Counter's has the following unique synergies that are allowed in its current state that I feel will be broken come the rework: > The Other Half: Only sword able to roll with Flash Counter and Repulsor Brace. Able to self-proc Repulsor Brace. It is also the only sword with Repulsor Brace in the 4th column > Quickfang: Only Void sword able to roll with Tireless Blade and Flash Counter. Making it a great ad clear candidate with Gyrfalcons Hauberk > Able to stop Overload Champions from healing (not stun because of "lite" suppression) > Able to proc Stylish Executioner > Able to be siphoned by Collective Obligation for the full Suppression instead of "lite" > Can be stacked with any damage buff for extra damage (hoping it would've been the Lament catalyst) > Alternative to Tether or Tractor Cannon during a sword damage strat > The only source of Suppression via a Legendary weapon > Was the only source of Weaken until Withering Gaze on a Legendary weapon It's one of the few unique perks that I feel could've been buffed just by giving it a more generous trigger and/or full Suppression instead of the "lite" variant. But there was no mention in the TWAB of keeping the subclass synergy or the verbs. Instead, it mentioned Disorient, which makes me think it'll just be replaced with an effect similar to Disorienting Grenades on Grenade Launchers. Please let it keep the subclass synergy or at least any of the synergies mentioned.
