Unlike other here i actually enjoyed Revenant. I think that most people here judges something by its first impression. If something comes out buggy then that is all people will think of it and is unwilling to give it a second chance.
Onslaught Salvation. At first i thought it was a kind of pointless and lazy addition and that the original Onslaught was better. Now however i do prefer this version more, it is essentially just an update but the in-between part and the boss encounter is much better in Salvation, not to mention how much easier it is.
The map selection is the only thing that lets it down, 3 maps and lets be honest only 1 of them is good and that is Widows court.
Tomb of elders. A small gauntlet that gets increasingly more difficult as you move on. Personally i find the increase to be a bit too much, it doesn't take long at all for enemies to start dealing an insane amount of damage and that is the only thing that i don't like about this activity. It is a short activity and it feels rewarding. There is not that much to say about it more then that really. If the power increase was a bit lower then i would of enjoyed it a bit more.
Kell's fall. An excellent dungeon in my opinion, a fun short mission that feels like a dungeon. Trickster being the only boss that i dislike due to her constantly going invisible like all scorn does. It really slows down the progression, but other than that it is a great exotic mission that i wish we will see more of.
And of course Slayer's fang being an amazing exotic Shotgun that i hope won't get nerfed anytime soon as it is just perfect as is.
Kell's vengeance. Just another great mission, the timer in the second encounter might be a bit too short but not unfairly so. It was fun to figure out what you were supposed to do the first time you ran it and to also come up with the best strategy to tackle this challenge. The Ship and Emblem is amazing, Especially the Emblem. Wish that it was more obvious that it was a potential reward as it is very easy to miss out on it like i almost did, luckily my clan told us about it. Final boss fight was a bit of a let down, it is just another boss that just stands there and allows you to kill them. Also the random wipe that would just happen in the boss room was a bit tedious and did cost me my flawless. Luckily it is not required, but just a personal thing.
Lastly is the thing that i hear a lot of people disliking and the is the Tonics. Tonics are just great and is in my opinion the perfect solution to the grinding issue that some people might have. Craft a potion and for 1 hour you will get drops of your choice and the great thing is that you don't even have to play the activity for the drops to occur. Remembering to drink one is the only issue here but that is on us and not Bungie. I would love to see this feature more in the future as well.
To me this Episode was a success, i enjoyed all of the content and had only a few minor complaints about it.
