Give us maps on our radars, make them more accurate, but weaker (and maybe a long rant)
Obviously a pvp focused post
Take note from how Call of Duty Black Ops 2's radar works
Changing it from there we can make it so:
when someone shoots from a distance, there's a ping on the radar from the direction they may be.
If they're visible, their exact coordinate is shown, but obviously this will have to be tweaked by hand.
People that crouch will blink their coordinate continuously when they don't move for 5 seconds
If you're just walking, your radar won't ping anyone's vice versa, only when you shoot will you show yourself on the map
Killing people with an uncharged melee will say they died by a melee in the feed but won't ping anything on your end unless it's an ability you're using.
If they die by poison or are getting burned, it won't ping anything, (just felt the need to say this idk)
(This is all so that people stop trying on it like a crutch and so engagements are more frequent)
Obviously people will bring up invis
Invis already doesn't ping so this change won't change that, obviously about 50%-70% reduced distance needed to hear footsteps, and about the same percent to reduce the actual noise
(though this tmdoesnt necessarily matter, since people may just use a headset amp to raise footstep noise)
Continuing the point: make maps actually have, oh idk, MAPS
Why do I have to look online for a damn unofficial map, of a damn map in a game
Seriously when they say that there's the bare minimum here, they mean it, but NO MAPS OF MAPS
My God I really don't even know what excuse someone will bring aside from "no time no money!" But eververse still gets fresh collabs with 0 free events (and I say free events because putting it in eververse is just lazy considering eververse was supposed to fund the *free* stuff which is now non-existent)
Oh but if you go to the "map" section in my director, it's just to requeue in pvp?
Who thought of this? The director takes ages to load on the old gen consoles so it's just horrid having to requeue like that EVERY DAMN TIME
Why do I want this?
Because our radar is what changes this games meta due to how we can just play it safe until someone gets tired of playing the waiting game
Or maybe it's because you can get spawn trapped in casual 3v3 modes if the respawns of you and your teammates aren't together, causing it to be a 2v3 then a 3v1, and so on and on (respawn point problem, but this wouldn't happen as much if people didn't have a radar that told them where the next free kill would be)
And also because sneak bow is the most useless perk ever, because radars ALWAYS know where you're at, regardless if you shoot while crouching it will STILL ping continuously even when you DONT SHOOT(what were you thinking when making this perk???)
Also this is "extra" but reduce the opacity of on screen effects by 50%
(yes including the red that says I'm dead) if you haven't been blinded, slowed, smoked, scorched etc etc, all at once then I'm sure this seems like too much
Option to remove on screen notifications when in PVP matches, this has to be the worst and most immersion reducing things done on the game, how about just telling me when it's over, and no I dont mean 3 times in a row if I left too early even when the game was "over", which brings me to:
Remove the wait after finishing a game, just let me requeue the second the score/timer reaches its limit, and drop the rewards right then and there too
