Second day I forgot to post, so I guess I'll just start having to number these instead. My ADHD got the better of me.
Anyway, I really want Festival of the Lost to be a great event! As much as I am against the cash shop, I feel this is the one event that should get a pass. Halloween is possibly the most cosmetic-based holiday, so having lots of variety and options, even if in the cash shop, is a good touch. I feel like we should stop voting for one of two sets and just put both sets in the shop. If you really want to retain the voting aspect, then just have the vote go towards which set the accessories and weapon should match.
Then there's Haunted Sectors. I've gone on and on about them, but I'll give it a break now and just re-state the pain points that need adjustments: They are repetitive, they are monotonous, they lack heart, and most of all, they do not offer anything unique to gameplay.
Festival of the Lost has so much potential to be a great holiday event. If only it weren't so watered down. Would you play more of the event if it were also designed to be alot of fun rather than just a half-cash shop/half grindfest for (mostly) meh-tier loot? Imagine having an activity that is a blast to play. So much so that you're willing to play it just because it's fun! But it also drops the loot! Imagine playing an activity where the loot actually feels like a bonus to the activity and not the sole grind.
