Double charge exotics and aspects dumping any more than 1 ability on respawn

As the title states, multi charge exotics, such as: -armamentarium -second chance -stoicism class item perk, spirit of armamentarium as well as aspects like: -touch of thunder with lightning grenades for the arc titan are all dumping ability energy on death. If a player has any more than 1 charge’s worth of energy, they lose it when they respawn. This happens in both pvp and pve. Can these please be patched, it seems pretty clear these are all not working as intended. Thank you very much

  • To update: I can confirm that even with the Strand Titan’s base triple melee charge, the Wishful Ignorance exotic that adds a fourth will dump all but the three charges every respawn if you have a charge above three. This is clearly something to do with assets whose functions add abilities that are greater than the base number.

  • Huh. A rare piece of useful feedback on the forums.

    • This has been a thing for a long time. Hell, the first time I noticed was in Beyond Light when my Stasis Hunter didn't get the second charge of my melee on mission start so I'm pretty sure it's intended, but I really wish it wasn't as there is no reason for it.

      • Agreed. It makes those exotics useless.

      • Was a thing since d1. I guess they just want to keep it that way.
