Try having rotator cuff surgery without pain meds. I was all right & ready to go for my first one, when the nurse walked in, asked what I was there for, told her & then she said, "Oh god, that is horrible! The is one of the few surgeries that hurt worse than giving birth [i]and[/i] you can't have pain meds? You life is going to be hell! It took 4 big dudes to hold me down & a lot of happy juice.
