A freelance mode would pair you with 2 people anyways why not just jump on forums and join a group?

Because it is not optimal on console, and yes with a freelance mode I could just randomly matchmake. I wanna be able to matchmake for everything, otherwise you have to spend time in the forums instead of gaming imo.

I mean my personal experience with getting groups has been fine there are always plenty of groups just wanting a couple wins if you just wanna vibe and chill but i can tell you now they will never put a solo q option for trials

Well just wanted to give my opinion on the subject, it was a bit disappointing to see that it was only fireteams for the activity. Bungie should focus more on the social side for consoles. I come from many years from playing Warframe and in there you can easily get into a clan and from there chat with everyone and trade and such. Destiny 2 fails to deliver to solo console players imo, I wanna be able to do everything in the game without the hassle of getting a fireteam together...

Yeah i can get where you're coming from, unfortunately destiny is always disapointing in ways like this never has a game has such amazing lore and stories but garbage gameplay and plots. So much wasted potential

Well.... in matchmaking, he wouldn't have to you know... jump on the forum and find random people. The game would do that for him.
