it's a really tough time to try and play destiny 2 solo.
you should look for a clan to join

They shouldn't have advertised it as Solo playable then.

as far as i know there is plenty of soloable content

You don't tell people they can play how they want including solo when that's actually in part and parcel to a multiplayer experience ONLY. Lying through omission at best.
