Use a back up mag on Swords. I get like 70 ammo .. no armor mods needed. You are welcome.

17 RepliesOh look, swords. Bungie would probably care, except swords have been the worst weapon in the game since D2's launch, and they've done nothing about it, so... don't expect anything. Well, I mean, there might be a new sword skin in eververse or something, I suppose.

1 ReplyWhile swords are eclipsed by almost every single heavy weapon they can be good in situations and can be fun to use. My favorite was a blink onto a bomb followed by a triple kill and a defuse.

Andria XVII You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

The golden times where i destroyed entire activities with my Dark Drinker, will they ever come back? Swords need so many buffs, damage res, damage buff, efficiency.

They are also pretty terrible in crucible unless played right. But even that is not enough when you have at least 7 sword ammo average and you can’t really block your way because that consumes quickly and rushing on them would only get you killed.

Not surprising, Bungie likes to nerf their own game.

If Swords got a small buff in damage, Bubble Swording bosses would be fun again.

Swords period are trash. Bows are more viable. Swords base reserves without perks should be 20 for legendaries and 30-35 for exotics.

On the flip side without mods, they have AMAZING reserve values.
