Is it better to have rich people pay more taxes, or have middle class and below foot that bill along with their own? I'm of the mindset that overly rich people don't need so much money that they don't know what to do with it other than horde it. If an overly rich person can pay more taxes and not really feel the effects of it, they should be required to pay more taxes, while people who are barely scraping by shouldn't be forced to foot a rich person's welfare. I also come from a family that was considered below poverty level that lived almost paycheck to paycheck for at least a quarter of my life.
