Sen stood on a sidewalk, in the center of the city. The rain soaking his cloak. The city was filled with people living their everyday life, whether it be going to the store, coming home from work or merely taking a stroll.
His radio began to beep, and he hurried into an alley. He grabbed the radio. “Yes, I’m here.”
“It’s time.”
Sen walked back out into the streets, and looked up at the thick clouds which covered the sky. Occasional flashes of lightning and faint rays of sunlight penetrating the clouds.
There was a blue glow and faint rumble coming from the clouds directly ahead. Civilians stopped to look at it. A few seconds later, a Phantom warship broke through the clouds. It fired a bright beam into the city and into a skyscraper. The skyscraper collapsed into rubble and flames.
Civilians began to panic and run. Phantom shuttles landed, and unloaded troops. They fired into the crowds.
K’raiv exited the nearest shuttle, and walked over to Sen. “Come with me. We have a job to do. The ship’s are preparing to glass the city.”
They walked through the carnage, searching for civilians.
Consider this a role play post. I’ll try to get to you as soon as I can. And yes, this is happening as we speak. So, Virus, there may not even be a city for you to march on in a week.

This is my first roleplay, so it might suck.
