Well you've obviously put more thought into it than anyone who wrote it in the first place. Let it go. It's always been a generic rip off of many, better, scifi fantasy stories.
Sure so in destiny 1, when they first mentioned dregen yor initially. He was a hunter. Now fast forward a little after DB they change it to a titan. On top of that in the grimoire it stated he was killed by shin. But now, this dlc throws that all out of the window. Not only is he alive but he calls himself the drifter
what? when was it stated that The Drifter is Yor? 1) Drifter left the system as soon as he was revived while Yor was a Risen who was born in the early City Age. 2) Drifter is not classified as any class but COULD be a Warlock while Yor was a Titan. 3) Yor is definitaly dead.
also, you'd figure that Shin Malphur would recognize the man who killed two of his farher figures
That doesn’t sound right... I’ll have to get back to you obviously on what is new with this expansion relative to the drifter.
I understand that Yor was a titan, who took on more of a Hunter look (cloak and all) after going Dregden. But yes, my understanding also was that he was killed by Shin Malphur.
Drifter being Dregden Yor (and not Dregden something else) would come as a pretty big surprise and also not seem to fit real well with him hanging out in the tower with Shaxx like nobody knew him as Reyzil Azzir turned Yor.
Thanks for the response, by the way.
