Scout rifles are in a horrible place. I used them all the time in D1. They just have never felt right in D2, not even the damage, just the overall feel.
I would use nameless midnight, from time to time in year one, and it at least felt ok. First time I used it in year 2, i could see the damage drop off,and didn't even feel the same as in year 1.
Who ever works on scout rifles,on the bungie development team, needs to go back and play D1, to see and feel the difference. Some of the worst scout rifles from D1,feel better than some of the best scout rifles of D2.

I agree that nameless has been the only one that had the similar gun handling feel to many of the great D1 scouts. Miss my old D1 Iron Banner scout, forget the name but it had explosive rounds and hit like a truck. I had the trigger rhythm down to a science......might be a D1 night tonight.

The only good scout was Polaris lance, and they wrecked that one too.

Yeah I never stopped using salvation state.

I can't remember what it's called, but the Gambit scout rifle is really good. You might want to try it out.

Bump! I'd love a CCL with firefly for PVE right now.

Explosions everywhere *contented sigh*

I agree fella. Big user of them in d1. Never use them in d2. They just feel weird. Remember vision of confluence 🔥. Best gun in d1 for me!
