This comment by Dmg basically comfirms Bungie can seperate the weapon nerfs/buffs for PVP/PVE, He says scout rifles had a nerf for PVE so their should be no reason any weapon should suffer in both PVP/PVE.

Edited by RingersCheckmate: 9/23/2018 3:33:39 AMThey’ve always been able to tweak damage to minions of the darkness. It’s not always a damage issue tho. Look at D1 auto rifles
-
They have had the option since D1.

Edited by Maxximus Aurelius Rexx: 9/23/2018 1:53:26 AMI think they were too lazy to buff them separately so they did them across the board, because I doubt literally anyone tracks the guys performance
This comment by Dmg basically comfirms Bungie can seperate the weapon nerfs/buffs for PVP/PVE, He says scout rifles had a nerf for PVE so their should be no reason any weapon should suffer in both PVP/PVE.
They have always been separate dingus. First 6 months of D1 they doubled shotgun damage in PvE only. Man people are dense.

They never said they couldn't. The Destiny experience is not designed to be a separate world. If it was it'd just be another shooter. So it would demise the whole premise of it's conception
-
They can do whatever they want, it's their game.
-
True but we are their money.
-
They need a buff in pvp too
-
That's because it was just damage numbers. Changing a weapons stability or range would be completely different.
-
It's been this way since D1, remember the shot gun change?
-
Was called for.... look at the range someone can 1 shot you at vs any other weapon type in PVP.
-
yeah it's not like snipers and fusions can't one shot you from further away or anything.
-
Yeah but the only thing separated is damage numbers. Everything else is shared.
