Redrix is not op, but it sure is fun to use. If I was going to do competitive I would chose nightshade over Redrix because it is a more consistent weapon and can 2 burst with kill clip. However in quick play Redrix is so fun. Kind of like 2 tapping people with sturm (or even getting a 1 hit kill with sturm empowering rift with sturm overcharged) Also Redrix is really good in pve for mowing down adds.
