My brain needs about 8 hours sleep or I feel tired during the day. I can extend the sleep time to maybe 10-11 hours until it gets pretty difficult or impossible to fall asleep. But then I feel kinda warm and my head hurts a little.
Why can I not sleep longer? Like 24 hours or a week? Why does my brain say stop? Why mother nature!?!?!?

Because staying asleep too long stops you from doing things you need to do, like eat and drink. Certain animals are able to bypass this, but only because they've evolved the means to do so. You haven't.
