"This is your home sweet home? It's nice." Silver went over and sat on the couch.

*She followed, sitting down next to her.* [u]Thanks, I just cleaned yesterday.[/u]

"It's spotless." Silver nudged Sapphire a bit before yawning and laying down on the couch, her legs going over Sapphire's lap. She giggled, clearly doing it as a joke.

*She giggled as well, looking Silver up and down. She was considering laying with her, but seemed unsure.*

Silver smiled at Sapphire in a friendly manner. "I'm glad to have you as a friend, Sapphire, you're a lot fo fun."

[u]Y-You are too.[/u] *She was a little disappointed by the usage of the word ‘friend’ but tried not to let it show. Slowly, she laid down with Silver so they were face to face.*

Silver sensed it easily, frowning a little. "Hey, why are you disappointed? Did I say something wrong?"

[u]W-What?[/u] *She was surprised by how easily Silver knew how she felt. She blushed a little bit when she spoke again.* [u]I... Well... I-It seemed a little like this was heading toward more than being friends...[/u]

"Oh...I'm sorry." Silver gave Sapphire a hug and a light squeeze. "I didn't mean to reject you or anything by saying that."

[u]O-Oh.[/u] *Her ears raised and her blush darkened as she hugged back.*

"I really am sorry for that." Silver nuzzled her face into Sapphire's neck. "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings."

[u]I-It’s alright.[/u] *She said, smiling.* [u]This kind of situation is just a first for me.[/u] *She nuzzled the top of Silver’s head back.*

"This kind of situation?" Silver asked, closing her eyes.

[u]A romantic situation.[/u] *She said, still nuzzling Silver’s hair. She could feel Sapphire’s tail gently wrap around her legs. She had begun to purr again as well.*

"Y-Yes! Please, don't be sad..." Silver cuddled up closer.

[u]No! I’m not sad, heh heh... I-I just want to make sure we’re on the same page. I’ll... I’ll just stop talking for now and let this go how it goes...[/u] *She cuddled back happily as her purring grew louder. What she could feel of Sapphire’s fur was quite soft and snuggly, warm too.*

"Mmm....Just as comfy as I thought it would be." Silver rubbed her cheek against the warm fur happily.

*Sapphire began to run her hand up and down Silver’s back, enjoying being cuddled. Her legs intertwined with Silver’s as she pulled her a bit closer.*

Silver didn't mind, enjoying the feeling of warmth and comfort. "Sapphire, I wish I was as cuddly as you..."

[u]You already feel very cuddly, though.[/u] *She squeezed Silver gently and nuzzled her nose.*

"Thank you, but I'm not covered in fur." She giggled, smiling at Sapphire.

[u]Well, fur feels nice to smooth skin, and smooth skin feels nice to fur.[/u] *She gazed down into Silver’s eyes, smiling happily. Sapphire placed a hand on her cheek, holding it gently.*

Silver rubbed her cheek up against the hand a little. "Is that so?"
