Screams.
Sobs, crying for help.
Gunshots, yelps of pain.
The crackle of flesh and wood burning.
Garin tossed and turned, his vision in his dream focusing on one thing.
His daughter. Evelyn.
She had Garin's blonde hair and her mother's pale gray eyes. She was young, and frail... and afraid.
The crackle of an unstable lightsaber.
Burning flesh, boiling metal, getting closer and closer.
"Stay here", he heard a voice say.
He turned, and saw a younger version of himself run into the night, his wife beside him.
A low chuckle, a pained shriek as his previously impaled wife fell to the ground.
A kick to the head.
Darkness.
Screaming, wailing, for daddy. Daddy, help me. Daddy, please.
Garin jolted upright in his bed, covered in tears and sweat.
"I'm gonna find that son of a bitсh if it's the last thing I do. Evelyn..."
Garin turned to look at an old photo of his daughter. Laughing.
Smiling.
"I'm coming."
Probably my best post in a long time. Open for feedback. This is the start of a long and tedious plot that might take up the whole of 3 months, if not more.
