"No problem, sir..
No.. problem."
Elisa would draw away her attention from Alric, as she began to study the everlastingly growing storm, as the winds only grew stronger and stronger with each passing second. Her eyebrows furrowed, as she began to study the distance, of which was now clouded by dust and clouds.
"Alric.."
English
-
"Hmm... This will pose a problem for us." Alric mumbled underneath his breath, looking around the area where they were camping. "Perhaps we should find a tunnel or something of the sort? A cavern or somewhere to hide...?" The Witcher would shake his head, sighing.
-
"I.. I don't know. But it's like it's.. growing?" Indeed, the woman's fears proved true, as the sandstorm had begun to disperse and only magnify in size, the rustling winds now reaching the parameter of the camp. A horn went off in the encampment - one to go ahead and get to shelter.
-
"Does that not happen when a sand storm approaches?" The Witcher asked with a dry chuckle, trying to lighten the mood.
-
"I mean.." That would be when an arrow whistled past Elisa's head. An alarm horn would suddenly ring out, as arrows began to rapidly shower the Trayven encampment, flames darting across their tips as they flew through the air. Elisa would then pull Alric down, taking cover. "-they're coming from the storm!"
-
"DRAW YOUR BLADES, STAND AND FIGHT!" Alric wrapped his hand around the hilt of his blade and drew the it from its sheath. Rushing down the hill, he dragged Elina behind him and joined the ranks of Dojo and Trayvern warriors.
-
"-For the Golden Lion!" Elina yelled, and in response.. "ALEA IACTA EST - IUS AD BELLUM!" The Trayven forces would begin a phalanx, as foes of desert attire would emerge from the sands, drawing curved swords and beginning their assault around the encampment.
-
"JEREMIAH, ELINA, STAY HERE!" Alric jumped over the shoulders of the two Trayvern troops, over the Phalanx wall they had created and swung his blade toward the incoming forces.
-
Elina would attempt to stop Alric from leaping over, though it was too late, as he soon faced off against one of the warriors of sand. Leather plates coated in the gritty essence covered his chest, as he spun his curved sword towards Alric's neck.
-
Alric dodged underneath the blade, slashing his own downward as the tip cruised through the sand. He tossed the blade into his opposite hand, swinging it upward and aiming to stab at the warriors stomach.
-
The blade would pass through the warrior's stomach, yet he would release one final war cry as he brought his sword up yet again. Only, an arrow slammed into his neck, as the warrior fell back. "Alrig, get back!" Elina yelled, seemingly the one with the bow.
-
Grudgingly, Alric pulled his blade out of the dead warriors stomach and allowed the warrior to fall downward. The Witcher rose to his feet, casting Igni as he moved back. A flame emerged from his palm and exploded outward, as if he were trying to burn some of the sand warriors. His back pressed against the wall of the Trayvern Phalanx, he pivoted around and jumped back over their shoulders and stood side by side with Elina.
-
"This is pure chaos.." Elina would say to herself, as the phalanx and the polearm users behind the shield's wall would begin to push forwards, tearing through the invading attackers. "We need to spread out.. they're clustering us together!"
-
"WARRIORS! MAKE SOME ROOM!" Alric walked behind the backs of Trayvern and Dojo forces, shouting orders over the sounds of fighting. The warriors of the dojo immediately did so, spreading their ranks by leaving gaps and spaces in between their shields. When one Sand warrior came through the gap, a warrior would come him down from the side. The group spread out, trying to push against the onslaught of attackers while at the same time creating room between each other.
-
It seemed as if the waves of attackers would simply keep coming. More and more of them rose up from the currently growing storm, as blood of Trayve and the blood of the assaulters spilt upon the sandy earth. Roughly twenty minutes went past, and soon Elina knew that they couldn't hold forever. "We.. We can't hold them back - we have to retreat! Push through their ranks! NOW!" The phalanx line seemingly began to attempt busting through.. until a terrific screeching noise would bust through the air. Soldiers on both sides clutched their ears and screamed, as the warriors of sand would cry out "Ëclatar!", followed by arrows flying through the air, hitting nothing at all. Something else was there.
-
"WARRIORS OF THE DOJO! WARRIORS OF TRAYVE! WARRIORS OF THE BURNING ISLES!" Alric called, cutting down a Sand warrior as they pushed through a gap in the Phalanx wall. "THERE IS AN ENEMY TRYING TO MURDER US! TRYING TO TAKE OUR LIVES AND CAST US ASIDE AS THOUGH WE ARE NOTHING MORE THAN DEAD MEN WALKING! WE WILL NOT... NO, WE CANNOT ALLOW THEM TO CLAIM OUR LIVES!" A resounding cheer went up from the warriors of the dojo, their efforts to push through the sand warriors seemingly doubled. Slashing and hacking with their blades, slamming into the warriors with their shields and arrows flying into the sky toward the screeching while also flying into the ranks of the sand troopers.
-
"Ëclatar!" Crashing down upon ranks of Trayven and sand warriors, it's pure bulk muffling the final screams of the combatants that it demolished, the creature would rise up, releasing yet another hair-rising scream from it's vocal cords. The creature was about ten feet tall, it's maw coated in sand and rock, deep orange eyes being strikingly similar to Freya's own. Odd. The creature would prepare it's barbed tail, before then suddenly swinging into the Trayven's phalanx, and at Alric as well.
-
Alric belly flopped onto the ground, hoping that the Dragons tail would swipe directly over his head.. Leaving a slight injured to his back or something of the sort.
-
Alric would escape, while the soldiers around him would either follow his lead or be sent flying, some still impaled upon the beast's tail as it slammed against them. Where the creature walked, cracks had appeared in the ground, sucking in sand. If there was a way to increase the size of the cracks and bring the thing down..
-
Alric rose to his feet, reaching into a pouch on his side and drawing an orb like object. He tossed it toward the cracks, an explosion occurring as the Orb struck the ground. A bomb, of sorts.
-
The earth would split even more, particles of the ground blowing apart as the dragon stumbled. It screamed in anger, yet soon turned to annoyance, when an arrow struck it's head. Another came, as this time the creature turned it's gaze from Alric to.. Elina. "Do that again, Alric!" Elina yelled, dropping her bow as she drew her sword, beginning to quiver from.. fear, perhaps. Yet even then, she stood there, distracting the dragon so that Alric could end the beast.
-
In a single, fluid, motion Alric sheathed his blade and rolled to the side. As he stopped the roll, sitting on one knee in the midst of battle he hurled a bomb from either hand toward the cracks. Two resounding explosions from the bombs were heard, and Alric prayed to the gods that it would be enough.
-
As the beast lunged for Elina, she would strafe to the side, slashing into it's neck: her blade broke scales and flesh, yet the creature merely swung it's head like a club, sending Elina flying back as she sprawled against the ground. The woman rolled, crying out as she clutched her twisted arm. The creature would turn back to Alric as the bombs went off, as the cracks had begun to split open. The creature would attempt to fly, but it was too late - as it was then sent sprawling into an abyss, falling rock crushing it's being. Fire swarmed around Alric, as the remaining Trayvens held formation. Their encampment was set ablaze, more cracks within the earth swallowing more soldiers and tents.
-
"GET AWAY FROM THE CRACKS! MOVE BACK, RETREAT! RETREAT!" The Bloody Witcher was yelling out orders to his troops, doing his best to keep them in order. He walked backwards, away from the ongoing battle that was occurring.
-
"A-Alric!" Elina's crying voice was heard in the distance, as Alric saw her crippled being in the distance: she was one fallen amongst many, as the Trayvens began to retreat.
-
"JEREMIAH!" A six foot giant of a knight, most likely the Dight warrior Alric had found, was by the Witcher's side in mere moments. Together, the duo rushed toward Elina, baring down upon the Sand warriors with their weapons. Seeing their leader move toward the enemy insighted several other Dojo warriors to rush forward, following their commander into the awaiting battle. The Witcher used the newly arrived warriors to create a loose semi circle, covering Elina away from the enemy
