The rounds were absorbed into the body of the creature as if they were hitting liquid. After a few moments of just absorbing gunfire, the bullets flew back at the hunter, the rounds now covered in fire and moving far faster than when originally fired. The creature didn't even turn to the man and kept walking, but winced a little when shot in the eye.

"Good luck with that. You burned the last note just now by stabbing me with that fire sword of yours. You have no way of knowing now." He smiles wickedly, and muscle began to reform on his arms as well.
-
Astari rolled her eyes and spoke with reluctance clear in her voice as if she hated every word she spoke. "My kind honor anyone or thing that enjoys spreading destruction...." She pulled out her sword from his body and it vanished. "You had proven yourself while slaughtering alongside a daughter of the fire, but that does not mean I like you in anyway. I despise you." The woman of fire sighed and shook her head, turning around as if to leave. "Sadly that daughter enjoyed the massacre she shared with you."
-
"As one as the same types of tastes as me should. A taste for blood, that is. And plenty of it." He's just kinda laying on the ground, muscles still slowly wrapping around his legs. "Now, mind telling me exactly what that means? Cause that could mean she just liked it or that could mean we're gonna kill more shit later."
-
"She'll beg you to death to go out and kill more...constantly. She's more violent than most and that's saying a lot for children of fire." Astari walked over to the corpse of the daughter she spoke of and placed her hand on it. The body cracked in several places before breaking apart all together. In the center lay an unconscious young girl that couldn't have been over 20, long red and messy hair covered her pale face. "Get her clothed and treat her well. We're not exactly pleasant when angered...if you couldn't tell."
-
"Yeah, I could tell. And uh... Might be a bit. I'm kinda still... Recovering. I need like... Five minutes tops." He does, however, begin to limply drag himself over towards the girl, just admiring the fact he now had a murdering buddy. It would be fûcking fantastic. "Y'know, I feel like me and you could get along if you stop trying to blindly hate me. It's kinda rude."
-
"You made my daughter cry earlier. F*ck you, *sshole. I know Panta is a bit...different, but she'll learn the ways of fire eventually. You didn't have to slice up a vampire in front of her." Astari stood by as he neared the unmoving daughter of fire. When he got closer he could make out that she had a slightly more plump and curvy body type than the average girl.
-
"That's your kid? You do know that I don't actually mean to scare kids, right? And she was the one watching. Could've looked away. Not like I was putting on a show. I was making a point. A point that their kind is no longer tolerated while I'm in town. Which will be for a very long time." He didn't really seem to care about her body shape. It's what's on the inside that counts. And on the inside was a genocidal monster.
-
"I probably won't be mad at you forever, but...you'd know if you were to ever have a child...and if you were normal. I have a feeling you'd only have a child so you could have more killing partners." Astari now began to walk away. "Have fun with your new genocide machine."
-
His smile fades and he suddenly gets extremely serious. Seems she struck a chord with the having children thing. "No. Children are not meant to be like that. Not even my children, were I to have any more. I learned that lesson the hard way."
-
"Oh?" She looked over her shoulder with a small smile. "You know, you remind me of myself a little too much for comfort." Astari vanished into a burst of blue flame, leaving the Vampire Hunter alone with the unconscious girl.
-
The Vampire Hunter sighs heavily, and waits. Around two or three minutes later, he has regenerated enough to stand up, and also picks the girl up. He takes off his jacket, covering her up with that for now. His smile returns, and his eyes burn brightly. He was extremely excited to have a murder machine like her in his company. He walked to the warehouse, where he set her down on a couch and threw a blanket over her to cover her up.
-
It didn't take long for the girl to wake up, blinking open her bright blue eyes for a few seconds, but too blurry of vision to really see much. "Wha-Was I dreaming again, Marth?" She sighed and shut her eyes again. "Why did something so awesome have to end? I was f*cking up so much in that dream. I had this guy on my back shooting his guns like, pew pew, and then throwing over a dozen grenades....fun times."
-
"Funny you mention that, it wasn't a dream at all! It was real! I was the guy on your back! Yeah, I tried to do a binding thing so I could just bring you back if you had to leave and we could keep killing shit, but someone came along and sorta killed you! Better now though!" His arms weren't fully back yet, still skin missing in big patches. He jacket was still on her under the blanket. "I suppose this is good a time as any to introduce myself formally! I am the Vampire Hunter! Just a title. As you remember, I kill a lot of things." He smiles a little wider.
-
The girl gasped and smiled widely, beaming with delight at the sight of the hunter. "YOU'RE REAL!" She squealed before jumping off the couch and tackling him with a hug. She hopped up and down with her arms around him, not minding any lost skin. "Let's go again!"
-
He laughs for a minute, but composes himself. He doesn't really care about her jumping around at all, finding it rather amusing. "Well, first we need to get you down clothes. And now that Dojoville isn't burning and I can't go full-out... How do you feel about brutalizing vampires and werewolves? Basically we'll be doing what we did, just on a smaller scale. And we can disguise it as helping people out this way!"
-
The girl squealed in delight some more and shook with anticipation, clearly excited as can be. "SURE! As long as I get to tear their flesh off and eat it!...Wait, clothes?" She raised a brow in confusion.
-
"Yeah. You're looking more like a human now, gonna need some clothes. Plus we can make you look intimidating as hell. It'll be great. Imagine anything that you think would look cool. I can make it happen."
-
"Hooman?" She cocked her head to the side. "I already look intimidating. I breath fire and eat people."
-
"Take a look at yourself. You're not exactly looking like a Balrog anymore. You look human." He wasn't really fazed by the fact she was completely oblivious. He just seemed to enjoy having an expert of murder with him.
-
The girl looked down at her body and then back at the hunter, having not been stated that she was around his height at a massive 7 feet tall. "So what if I'm in this form right now? I'm not trying to intimidate or kill. When I'm trying to do that I'll just transform."
-
"Looking badass is part of it. Even in your human form. It's just par for the course. Plus I don't want anybody getting any ideas, 'cause then I have to blow them apart and that's bad for my reputation here. Doesn't really matter what you put on, you just need to cover up."
-
"Fiiiiiiiiiiiine! Do I have to cover up all of my body though? Come on, man...." She crossed her arms and pouted.
-
"Listen. It's just better that way, alright? It's honestly for the sake of reputation. Gotta keep that up. But I can get you something super loose-fitting if you'd like."
-
"Ugh." Her whole body erupted with fire, covering everything, but her eyes with red flames. "Better?"
-
"That's hot in more than just the literal sense. And yes. Hey, it even goes for the intimidation factor too. Now, wanna go murder a Himalayan village?"
