Then play something else. No one forces you to play anything, especially if you get no enjoyment out of it. Why would you do that?
I enjoy the heck out of the game. Still not bored with it. To me, it's not dead. I always have friends online on it. I never have a problem finding groups. People keep saying it's dead. I don't see the coffin.
